Present writ petitioner has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to DRT-I, New Delhi to expeditiously dispose of Transfer Appeal No.31/2023. Petitioner further prays that this Court may in alternative decide the Transfer Appeal No. 31/2023 pending before DRT - 1, New Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the property of the petitioner/third party purchaser being E-34, Greater Kailash-II Enclave, New Delhi-110048 is lying sealed for more than five years due to the inaction of the DRT -1 to dispose of the appeal.

He, however, fairly states that though DRT-I has heard the arguments partially in the matter yesterday, yet he is not aware of the next date of hearing.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, the present writ petition along with the applications is disposed of with a direction of the DRT-I, New Delhi to decide the petitioner's Transfer Appeal No.31/2023 as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. This Court clarifies that it has not commented on the merits of the controversy. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
