By way of the present petition filed under Section 29(A) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal (AT) for a period of 12 months w.e.f. 02.06.2024 for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing of the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 02.06.2024. He further submits that The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. settlement talks were in progress after the mandate expired. 3.

Issue notice.

Learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent on advance copy, accepts notice and submits that the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for passing the award is extended for a period of 12 months, with effect from 02.06.2024. It is further observed that any proceedings conducted after the last mandate expired, shall also stand validated and regularised.
