Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued to the Trial Court for expeditious recording of the prosecution witnesses, he shall not press his petition at this stage. 2.

Keeping in view the totality of the facts and circumstances and the fact that the petitioner has been in custody since 13.10.2015 and only formal/official witnesses are remaining, Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and endeavour to conclude the same on or before 31.07.2019.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
