The present petition raises a grievance as regards alleged illegal construction in the property bearing No.1617/A/6, Uldanpur, Naveen Shahdara, Delhi-1100032.

Learned counsel for the MCD, who appears on advance notice, submits that the aforesaid property has already been sealed and the requisite demolition action is slated to be taken on 05th-07th March, 2024. He assures and undertakes, on instructions that the requisite demolition action shall be taken in accordance with law, to remove any unauthorized construction from the said property.

Taking the aforesaid statement and undertaking on record, and binding the respondent/MCD thereto, the present petition is disposed of. 4.

Needless to say, the concerned police station shall provide the requisite assistance to the MCD for taking requisite action.
