A Petition under Section 529 BNSS has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for quashing of FIR No.245/2018 under Section 323/354/506/509 IPC registered at Police Station Mukherjee Nagar on the basis of Settlement dated 16.11.2024.

It is submitted that on 15.05.2018 on the basis of a written Complaint by the Complainant/Respondent No.2 the FIR was registered against the Petitioner on the allegations that he had used some un-parliamentary language against the Complainant and also had pushed her. 3.

It is submitted that both the Petitioner and Respondent No. 2 have already sorted out their all differences with the intervention of their respective persons of the vicinity and they have left no grudge or grievance against each other in any manner whatsoever. Therefore, the Petition be quashed.

The Complainant is present in the Court and submits that the matter stands settled with the Accused/Petitioner. She has no objection if the FIR is quashed against the Petitioner on account of the settlement already arrived at between the parties. Furthermore the Petitioner who was sent to Jail for six days has additionally agreed to compensate the victim for having had to travel twice from Assam to Delhi due to this case. The Petitioner has already paid to the victim/Complainant a sum of Rs.40,000/- and the balance sum of Rs.40,000/- has also been given today to the victim, which she confirms.

The parties are present before this Court in-person today, and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. 6.

In view of the submissions made, the Petition is allowed. Accordingly, the FIR bearing No. 245/2018 registered at Police Station Mukherjee Nagar, for offences punishable under Sections 323/354/506/509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 with all the subsequent proceedings and the charge sheet is hereby quashed qua the Petitioner. 7.

The Petition stands disposed of.
