% 08.01.2020 Petitioner, who is undergoing sentence of rigorous imprisonment of seven years' rigorous imprisonment in FIR No. 83/2011, registered at Special Cell, Delhi for committing offences under Sections 342/395/397/412/506 IPC, was granted four weeks' parole on 2nd December, 2019 by this Court. Vide this petition, petitioner is seeking extension of parole for three months to take care of his wife and newly born son. Petitioner's parole is expiring on 8th January, 2020. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner has to surrender today before the competent authority. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for State has placed on record status report dated 7th January, 2020 verifying the factum that petitioner's wife is suffering from fever, anemia and jaundice. Heard.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, parole granted to petitioner is extended for a further period of four weeks on the same terms and conditions as stipulated in the order of 2nd December, 2019. This petition stands disposed of accordingly. Dasti.
