+ CONT.CAS(C) 56/2019 K S SETHI ..... Petitioner Through:

Mr.Vivek Singh, Advocate.

versus S HARISHANKAR & ORS ..... Respondents Through:

Ms. Kittu Bajaj, Advocate.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIPIN SANGHI HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE REKHA PALLI

O R D E R

% 05.12.2019

1. The respondents have deposited the amount of Rs. 8,53,904.31/- in this Court on 26th July, 2019.

2. The petitioner has also received certain amount from the respondents. He, however, disputes the said amounts.

3. We have time and again suggested to learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter could be placed before the Joint Registrar for the purpose of computation and to call for a report from him. However, the counsel insists on arguing the matter before us. In these proceedings, we are not inclined to get down to computation of the amount to the last rupee that the petitioner claims to be payable.

4. In these circumstances, we are not inclined to proceed with the contempt proceedings. If the petitioner is so advised, he may prefer such other remedy

as may be available to him. Dismissed.
