The present writ petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking the following reliefs:
"(a) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the name of the petitioner for the post of (GD) Constable on the basis of clearance of all the tests/ examinations conducted by respondents to be placed for a job with Respondent No.3, (b) Also issue directions to the respondents to disclose the reason as to why the name of the petitioner be kept in the list of Withheld Candidates when he had cleared all the tests/examination conducted by the Respondent No.2, in the interest of justice;" 2.
After selection of the Petitioner, his appointment has been withheld in order to verify the documents submitted by him. The Respondent authorities have already taken 3 months to verify the documents.
