Heard learned counsel representing the parties. 2.

Pursuant to our order passed yesterday, i.e. 07.04.2026, an affidavit on behalf of the respondent no. 1 has been filed which is taken on record. In the said affidavit, the respondent no. 1 has agreed to settle the matter on an amount, which may be fixed by this Court.

Learned counsel for the respondents, however, states that if the amount of Rs.6.83 lakhs is paid to the respondent no. 1, he shall be satisfied and will not pursue any further award made by the Labour Court. 4.

Learned counsel for the appellant on instructions states that the appeal may be disposed of as per the terms of the settlement as stated by the learned counsel for the respondent no. 1. He agrees that the appellant shall pay an amount of Rs. 6.83 lakhs to the respondents, which shall be in satisfaction of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the award passed by the Labour Court.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of this appeal with the direction that the respondent shall be paid a sum of Rs. 6.83 lakhs and such payment shall be towards the full and final settlement between the parties and also to the satisfaction of the award of the Labour Court. 6.

We have been informed that pursuant to the order passed by the learned Single Judge in the writ petition as also by this Court in this appeal, a sum of Rs.13,65,531/- has been deposited by the appellant with the Registry.

Accordingly, the Registry is directed to release a sum of Rs. 6.83 lakhs in favour of the respondents forthwith. Rest of the amount deposited shall be released in favour of the appellant. 8.

The appeal along with pending application stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
