The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be given to the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of three months in FIR No. 246/2004, under Sections 3/4/6 of the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, and Sections 342/323/109/34/363/365/368/376 of the IPC registered with PS Kamla Market.

It is stated that the petitioner has served almost five years out of the total sentence of seven years, as awarded to him. 3.

The petitioner has applied for parole on the ground of making arrangements for his daughter's marriage, which is now scheduled to be on 12.02.2020.

The said fact has been verified. In the given circumstances, the

respondent is directed to release the petitioner on parole for a period of three weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹20,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.

The petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi. He shall also provide his contact details and ensure that he is reachable at all times. 5.

The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 6.
