W.P.(C) 161/2020 & CM No.423/2020 (Stay) This petition has been filed seeking limited relief:- "1. a writ of mandamus be issued thereby directing the respondents to take decision on the applications of the petitioner with respect to registration of chemicals, as mentioned in para 8 of the present writ petition, in accordance with law, within a specified time frame, as may be fixed by this Hon'ble court;"
The learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance on the order dated 23.09.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 9328/2019 titled M/s Agra Pack vs. Union of India and Anr in support of his submission. In view of the limited prayer made in the present petition, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner and take
a decision thereon within a period of eight weeks from today. Needless to say that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision, it shall be open to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy against the same in accordance with law.
