% 28.05.2025 CM APPL. 33944/2025(seeking modification of the order dated 22.04.2025) 1.

The petitioner seeks modification of an order dated 22.04.2025, by which the writ petition filed by him was disposed of with liberty to the parties to seek remedies before the Civil Court, and while continuing the interim order of status quo that had been passed earlier. 2.

The modification sought is that an order dated 26.08.2020, passed by the Revenue Assistant, be expressly set aside. 3.

The said order was challenged before the Financial Commissioner, who has already observed in an order dated 09.05.2024 that the proceedings under the Delhi Land Reform Act, 1954 ["DLR Act"] become non-est from 16.05.2017, being the date of the notification by which the village in question was urbanised. that the orders of the Revenue Assistant must be seen in the context of this observation of the Financial Commissioner. 4.

As the Financial Commissioner has already held that all proceedings under the DLR Act after the date of urbanisation were nonest, no modification as sought by the petitioner is required. 5.

The application is therefore disposed of.
