It is stated by the learned Counsel for the Respondent that a fresh notification, being Notification No.05/2024, dated 05.04.2024, has been issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India, imposing certain conditions on the import of watermelon seeds.

In view of the above, learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the grievance of the Petitioner no longer survives. He, therefore, states that the present Writ Petition be disposed of as having become infructuous.
