The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs: 2.

for registration of its political party namely 'Communist Workers Party of India' (CWPI), under Section 29A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, on 22nd January, 2025.

The respondent/Election Commission of India ('ECI') raised certain deficiencies in the application of the petitioner vide communication dated 11th December, 2025, which was responded to by the petitioner on 31st December, 2025.

A subsequent communication has been sent on behalf of ECI on 14th January, 2026 asking for further particulars/documents from the petitioner. The said communication is set out below:

Accordingly the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the petitioner to provide the aforesaid particulars/documents to ECI at the earliest. 6.
