The present petition under Section 25(B)8 of the Delhi Rent Control Act seeks following prayer:- "It is therefore, most respectfully prayed that the rent revision petition may kindly be accepted and the impugned order dated 20.08.2019 in E 20/18 dismissing leave to defendant application of the Petitioner/tenant and passing eviction order against him by the court of Ms. Purva Sareen, SCJcum-RC (south West) District, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi may kindly be set aside and the Petitioner/ tenant may kindly be granted necessary leave to defend the said eviction petition."

Learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties submit that the parties have arrived at a compromise before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre vide settlement agreement dated 24.04.2026. 4.
In view of the above, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition.
