% 28.02.2024 1.

The present petition has been filed under Section 439 CrPC read with Section 482 CrPC seeking extension of interim bail in connection with FIR No. 656/2020 under Sections 302/34 IPC registered at Police Station Hari Nagar.

The extension has been sought on the ground that the petitioner's wife has been advised post operative care and is not in a position to look after her two minor children who are studying and are taking final examination. 3.

Notice was issued by this Court vide order dated 22.02.2024 with a direction to the State to file its Status Report. The Status Report has been handed over in the Court, the same is taken on record. 4.

A perusal of the Status Report shows that the factum of examination of petitioner's children has been verified. It has been stated in the Status Report that the examination of the children are concluding on 22.03.2024. In view of the above, the interim bail granted to the petitioner is extended till 25.03.2024 on the same terms and conditions as mentioned in the order dated 09.02.2024.

The learned counsel, on instructions, submits that he has instructions to state that no further extension of interim bail shall be sought. 7.

It is made clear that the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent on 26.03.2024.

The petition stands disposed of.

Copy of the order be forwarded to the concerned Jail Superintendent for necessary compliance and information.
