By way of the present application, the applicant is seeking grant of regular bail in case arising out of FIR bearing no. 479/2024, registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 420/120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC').

Briefly stated, the facts of the present case are that the present FIR was registered on the complaint of the complainant, alleging therein that she had been cheated by the applicant of an amount of ₹6,00,000/- on the pretext of arranging a job.

The learned counsel appearing for the applicant states that the amount earlier deposited by the applicant with the Registrar General of this Court, may be released to the complainant on proper receipt. Further, a DD of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
Rs.3,50,000/- has also been given to the complainant today, making it total Rs.5,00,000/-. Thus, it is prayed that the applicant be enlarged on regular bail.

The complainant is present in Court today and states that she has voluntarily entered into a compromise with the applicant and in compliance of the same, she has received an amount of ₹3,50,000/- by way of the demand draft today, out of total compromise amount of ₹5,00,000/-, and further Rs.1,50,000/- earlier deposited with the Registrar General of this Court, may be released to her.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, and the fact that the present case is not a multi-victim case, and that the applicant and the complainant has entered into a compromise, this Court is inclined to grant regular bail to the applicant herein, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/Successor Court/Link Court/Duty Judge concerned on the following terms and conditions: i) The applicant shall not leave the country without prior permission of the concerned Court and if the applicant has a passport, he shall surrender the same to the concerned trial court. ii) In case of change of residential address/contact details, the applicant shall promptly inform the same to the concerned Court and IO/SHO concerned.
iii) The applicant shall appear regularly before the learned Trial Court, unless exempted.

with the evidence of the case.

Accordingly, the present bail application stands allowed and is disposed of. Pending application also stands disposed of. 7.
The Registrar General is hereby directed to release the amount deposited by the applicant, to the complainant on proper receipt. 8.
A copy of this order be communicated to the concerned jail authorities for necessary compliance.
