CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAVIN CHAWLA

O R D E R

% 15.01.2020 The learned senior counsel for the petitioners confines his prayer in the present petition to prayer „d‟, reserving the right of the petitioners to approach the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi with respect to prayer „a‟ to „c‟ made in the petition. Liberty so prayed is granted. As far as prayer „d‟ is concerned, the same seeks a direction to the respondent no.1 to decide on the application dated 11.03.2019 filed by the petitioner no.1 seeking permission for up-linking and down-linking of the two news channels.

Looking into the innocuous nature of the prayer made, the respondent no.1 is directed to decide on this application as expeditiously as possible.

The petition is disposed of with the above direction. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the prayers „a‟ to „c‟ in the petition as also to the application dated 11.03.2019.
