O R D E R

% 23.01.2019 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues which led to registration of FIR No. 265/2013 under Sections 323/308/341/506/34 IPC against the petitioners at police station I.P. Estate, on the complaint of respondent no. 2. With the interventions of their common friends and other family members, petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 24.12.2018, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Manoj Kumar of police station I.P. Estate. He submits that he has settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force,

pressure or coercion and has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
