1. Notice. Mr Akshay Makhija, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the Respondents / UOI.

2. At the outset, learned counsel for the Respondents informs the Court that the Petitioner‟s „Redressal of Grievance‟(„RoG‟) raised on 20th November, 2018 is being treated as an application under Section 163 of the Navy Act, 1957.

3. The Court directs that the further grounds, if any, raised in the present petition will also be treated as part of the said application. A speaking order on the Petitioner‟s application under Section 163 of the Navy Act, 1957, including on the points urged in the present petition, be issued not later than

four weeks from today and be communicated to the Petitioner within a week thereafter. If the Petitioner is aggrieved of such a speaking order, it will be open to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

4. The writ petition and the applications are disposed of accordingly. S. MURALIDHAR, J.
