W.P.(CRL) 63/2020 Petitioner was sentenced to life imprisonment with fine in FIR No. 267/1997, registered at police station Gandhi Nagar, Delhi for committing offences under Section 302 r/w Section 149 IPC; Section 148 r/w Section 149 IPC; Section 452 r/w Section 149 IPC; Section 324 r/w Section 148 IPC and under Section 27 Arms Act, and was granted two weeks' parole on 13th December, 2019 by this Court.

Vide this petition, petitioner is seeking extension of parole for two weeks on the ground that the mother of the petitioner namely Kaushalya Devi expired on 05.01.2020 and the Tehrvi Ceremony and Traditional Brahmbhoj shall take place on 17.01.2020 and 21.01.2020 respectively.

Petitioner's parole is expiring on 12th January, 2020. Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that he has no objection if the parole of the petitioner is extended. Heard.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, parole granted to petitioner is extended for a further period of two weeks on the same terms and conditions as stipulated in the order of 13th December, 2019. This petition stands disposed of accordingly. BRIJESH SETHI, J JANUARY 10, 2020 savita
