The present petition seeks issuance of the writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.1 (District Magistrate, North-West, Delhi) to execute the Recovery Certificate dated 07.01.2025 issued by the Commissioner under the Employees Compensation Act, 1923 for recovery of Rs. 12,09,600/- along with interest @ 12% per annum and penalty of Rs. 4,83,840/- from the respondent nos. 2 and 3.

At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent no.1 who appears on advance notice, submits that the concerned recovery certificate is required to be executed by the concerned SDM, Bawana. She assures and undertakes that expeditious steps shall be taken for executing the recovery certificate The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and for realisation of the amount mentioned therein. The said statement is taken on record.
