Vide order dated 07.04.2025, the Hon'ble Court has, inter alia, directed as under:- ".....

In view of the above, as prayed-for by learned counsel, the Registrar General of this court is directed to release the amount deposited by the appellant in compliance of order dated 22.02.2024, within a period of 04 weeks of the appellant, approaching the Registrar General for this purpose, after duly verifying the appellant's credentials."

Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the Hon'ble Court, vide the aforementioned order, has disposed of the matter as withdrawn. He further prayed for the release of ₹2,50,000/-, being 50% of the decretal amount, which was deposited by the appellant in compliance with the order dated 22.02.2024 passed by this Hon'ble Court, along with the accrued interest The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. thereon, in view of the subsequent order dated 07.04.2025 passed by the Hon'ble Court. Learned counsel also submitted that the appellant is present in court and is willing to make a statement regarding the release of the aforesaid amount along with accrued interest. Accordingly, the statement of the appellant has been recorded separately, and he has been duly identified by his counsel.

In view of the above and since the matter has been disposed of as withdrawn, the Registrar (B&A) is directed to transfer the deposited amount of ₹2,50,000/- along with the accrued interest, directly to the bank account of the respondent, the details of which are given in his statement, in terms of the order dated 07.04.2025 passed by this Hon'ble Court.
