CM APPL. 70861/2024 has been filed by the petitioner praying for revival of the petition which was disposed of by this Court vide Order dated 15.07.2024, with the following directions:- "4. We accordingly dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to take a final decision, as per law, on the petitioner„s applications for maintenance by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 08 weeks. Needless to state, this would be subject to the petitioner cooperating with the respondents and furnishing any further information as may be required by the respondents for which purpose written communication will be issued to her by the respondents through her counsel.
5. It is further directed that in case the petitioner is found to be entitled to receive maintenance, the same will be granted to her within four weeks from the date of the decision. However, in the event, her claim is rejected by the respondents, it will be open for the petitioner to seek legal recourse as permissible in law."

praying for release of Rs. 1 lakh towards pending alimony and costs of legal proceedings from the respondents.

Major Anish Muralidhar (Army), who appears on advance notice of these applications, has handed over a copy of the Order dated 07.11.2024 passed by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, sanctioning grant of maintenance to the petitioner and her son. The same is taken on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a copy of this order has not been received by the petitioner. Major Anish Muralidhar is directed to supply a copy of this order to the learned counsel for the petitioner, through e-mail.

In case, there is any further formality to be completed by the petitioner for release of the maintenance amount, the same should be specifically informed by the respondents to the petitioner, by way of a written communication to be sent on the same email of the learned counsel for the petitioner, no later than one week from today. On completion of the formalities, the maintenance with effect from the date of the order be released to the petitioner and her son forthwith. 6.
