The present petition has been filed by the petitioners being aggrieved by the fact that their application dated 17.11.2019 (application ID no. 011198F4DP2) seeking grant of Long-Term Visa (LTV), and for regularising their stay in India, has not been decided.

Considering the limited relief raised by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with the directions that the respondents shall decide the aforesaid application of the petitioners within a period of 8 weeks from today, under intimation to the petitioners.

In case the petitioners are aggrieved by the outcome of the above exercise, they shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies under law. 4.
It is further directed that no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioners till the respondents take a decision on the aforesaid application of the petitioners.
