O R D E R

% 29.07.2025 1.

The present petition has been filed for taking action against the unauthorized construction existing in property no. 60, Nangli Rajapur, Nizamuddin East, New Delhi-110013.

A Status Report dated 11th March, 2025 has been filed on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), wherein, the MCD has detailed the various actions that have already been initiated against the unauthorized construction in question.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-MCD submits that partial action against the unauthorized construction in question, has already been taken on 25th March, 2025, and that further action is now fixed for 25th August, 2025.

At this stage, Mr. Vivek Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the Delhi Police, draws the attention of this Court to the Status Report dated 13th March, 2025 filed on their behalf, to submit that construction work was completely stopped at the property in question and that no further unauthorized construction is being allowed to be carried out in the said property.

He further submits that a latest Status Report has also been filed today, a copy of which has been handed over to this Court, and the same is taken on record.

As per the said Status Report filed on behalf of the Delhi Police, no further unauthorized construction is taking place in the property in question. 7.

before the Appellate Tribunal: MCD ("ATMCD"). 8.

The aforesaid fact is taken note of.

Considering the submissions made before this Court, it is directed that the MCD shall take the requisite action against the unauthorized construction existing in the aforesaid property, in accordance with law. 10.

The action taken by the MCD shall be uploaded on the website of the Special Task Force ("STF").

Additionally, the Delhi Police is also directed to ensure that no fresh unauthorized construction takes place in the property in question. 12.

In view of the appeal filed before the ATMCD by the respondent no. 4 and afore-noted directions binding the MCD to take appropriate action against the existing unauthorized construction and to ensure that unauthorized construction does not take place in the concerned property henceforth, no further orders are required to be passed in the present matter. 13.

Accordingly, the present writ petition, along with the pending applications, is accordingly disposed of.
