The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the BNSS (Section 482 of the Cr.P.C.) seeks the following prayers:- "a) Issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing order bearing no. F.18/381/2018/HG/2519 dated 21.10.2024 passed by the respondent; b) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus granting parole for a period of sixty (60) days to the petitioner in FIR NO. 369/1995, P.S. Mukherji Nagar, U/s 302/34 IPC;"

Status report and Nominal Roll dated 25.02.2025 filed by Superintendent of Prison, Central Jail no. 2, Tihar, New Delhi has been handed up in Court today and have been taken on record. In view of the above, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach this Court, if so required.
