This petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking further extension of time for the Arbitral Tribunal to pass the Award. 2.

Having perused the contents of the petition, the time for making of the Award is extended by a further period of 12 months with effect from 13.03.2019.

However, I may note that earlier also this Court had granted an extension of time of 12 months by its order dated 13.03.2018 passed in OMP(Misc.) (Comm.) No.30/2018. It is expected that no further time would be sought by the Arbitral Tribunal for making of the Award and the parties would make an endeavour to complete the arbitration proceedings within the time now being granted by this Court.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.
