Mr. Sudarshan Kumar Batra, proprietor of petitioner No.1 company, has handed over a demand draft, bearing No.021493, dated 26.3.2019, drawn on Axis Bank, in terms of the order dated 21.2.2019, which is accepted by Mr. Bipin Kumar Bhalla, proprietor of the respondent-M/s Abco Building Solutions towards the full and final settlement. Learned counsel for the petitioners and the proprietor of the respondent submitted that in view of settlement and consequently the payment of Rs.1,65,000/- made by the proprietor of petitioner No.1 to the proprietor of the respondent, the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 may be compounded. Accordingly, in view of the settlement between the parties and the payment made in terms of the settlement, the offence is compounded. Petitioner is acquitted.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that there is no other criminal case pending against the petitioners. 3.
The petition is accordingly disposed of.
4.
The concerned Jail Superintendent be informed to make necessary entries, if any, in this regard.
