O R D E R

% 24.01.2019 Respondent no. 2- Mr. Sagar Khera is present in Court alongwith his counsel and has been identified by SI Sanjay Singh of police station Ambedkar Nagar.

He submits that he has settled the matter with petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and that he has no objection in case FIR No. 0488/2018 under Sections 419/323/506 IPC registered at police station Ambedkar Nagar is quashed against the petitioner.

Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also on record to this effect.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
