The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondents for the issuance of certificate of Vending (COV) to the petitioners as per the directions given by the Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs,Government of India letter dated 18.05.2021 having reference bearing no. D.O No. K12017(30) /6/2020- UPA-II-Ud part(1) to the petitioners who have been issued letter of Recommendation (LOR) by under PM SVANidhi Scheme;"

Apparently, the relief sought for by the petitioner is for securing the Certificate of Vending (COV) based on the Letter of Recommendation (LOR). The LOR placed on record indicates that this has been issued by the North Delhi Municipal Corporation. Mr. Peechara, learned counsel appearing for the New Delhi Municipal Council also submits that the petitioner had applied for LOR to New Delhi Municipal Council and the same was rejected. The petitioner, thereafter somehow secured the LOR from North Delhi Municipal Corporation, which obviously would be of little benefit to the petitioner. 4.

In view of the above, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed. Pending application also stands disposed of.
