ARB.P. 49/2019 This petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the „Act‟) seeking appointment of a Sole Arbitrator for adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties.

Counsel for the respondent, who appears on an advance notice submits that the respondent has no objection on the appointment of a Sole Arbitrator.

In view of the above, I appoint Mr. Justice Dipak Misra, Former Chief Justice of India (97, Ground Floor, Sukhdev Vihar, New Delhi, Ph.9560333111) as a sole Arbitrator for adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties.

The Arbitrator shall give disclosure under Section 12 of the Act before proceeding with the reference.

The petition is allowed in the above terms, with no order as to cost. Dasti.
