The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce before this Court the wife of the petitioner, namely, Ms. Akansha Batra. 2.

Ms. Akansha Batra has appeared before us in person. She submits that the misunderstandings between the petitioner and her have been cleared and that she would now like to reside with the petitioner.
