O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the present application seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No.

272/2019 under Sections 323/354A/354B/506/506/509/376 of the IPC, registered with PS Anand Parbat.

The said FIR was registered in view of a complaint lodged by a woman (the complainant). She had reported that the petitioner had misbehaved with her. The complainant had alleged that the petitioner had pulled her behind a car and used bad language; pressed her chest; and had also put his other hand in her Salwar.

The petitioner claims that the said FIR has been lodged only to falsely implicate him and in view of extant disputes between the parties.

The present petition was listed on 13.01.2020 and this Court had directed that no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner subject to the petitioner joining the investigation.

It is now reported that the petitioner has now joined the investigation and has appeared before the IO. Considering the above, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition.

The petitioner is granted anticipatory bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety of the equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the concerned SHO/IO. Given the fact that the investigation is at an initial stage, this Court directs that this order will inure to the benefit of the petitioner till the chargesheet is filed. 7.

The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 8.
