% 25.01.2019 Issue notice. Mr. Anil Dabas, Advocate accepts notice. The petitioner's grievance is that its representative was forced to issue a cheque of ₹70 lakhs during the course of search operation and that despite cooperation and ongoing investigation, respondents are bent upon to hold amount.

Learned counsel for the respondent appearing on advance notice submitted that the cheque given by the petitioner was not forcefully taken; however it has been returned to the petitioner's counsel.

In view of the submissions made, the Court is of the opinion that no order is called for. The petitioner shall join investigation and cooperate fully. The respondents shall ensure that the investigation is completed at the earliest, preferably within three months. All further proceedings shall be in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of.
