The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondent to produce the sister of the petitioner, namely, Ms. Priyanka before this Court. 2.

Ms. Priyanka has appeared in person before this Court. She submits that she is presently staying separately from the petitioner and does not wish to reside with the petitioner.
