Applicant seeks regular bail in case arising out of FIR No.991/2024 dated 31.12.2024, registered at P.S. Begum Pur, for commission of offence under Section 137(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 (corresponding Section 363 of IPC). Subsequently, in the charge-sheet, offences under Sections 87/64(1)/3(5) BNS (corresponding Sections 366/376/34 IPC) and Sections 6/17/21 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 were added.

The charges are yet to be ascertained and the next date of hearing before the learned Trial Court is stated to be 30.07.2026. 3.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the applicant, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, does not press the present application at this stage. points raised here before the learned Trial Court at the time of arguments on charge. He submits that if the applicant is, eventually, charged with the offences in question, he may be permitted to file application afresh before this Court.
