O R D E R

% 25.01.2019 The petitioner impugns notice dated 18.07.2018, assessment order dated 06.11.2018 and communication dated 16.01.2019 whereby the petitioner's bank account has been attached by reason of non-payment of property tax dues owed by the petitioner to the respondent North-DMC. Ms. Mini Pushkarna, learned Standing Counsel for North-DMC has appeared on advance notice.

After some submissions, parties state that the present petition may be disposed of on the following terms:

(i) The petitioner shall pay the entire pending property tax demand

in the sum of Rs. 1,83,00,054/- due to the respondent up to 31.03.2019, by or before 31.03.2019; and (ii) Respondent North-DMC shall revoke the attachment of the petitioner's bank account within three working days from today.

If the petitioner fails to pay the property tax amount mentioned above by or before the stipulated date, the respondent shall be at liberty to take further action as permissible in law.

Learned Standing Counsel for North-DMC wishes to place on record that she has made the above statement on telephonic instructions from Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Dy. Assessor & Collector. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms, with a direction that parties shall remain bound by the statements made as recorded above. Pending application/s also stand disposed of.
