Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 533/2019 of Police Station Najafgarh for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no. 2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

Respondent no.2 present in court and identified by IO/ASI Geeta accepts notice.

Learned APP accepts notice and points out that as per the FIR, the petitioner twice got carried out sex determination of the foetus in the womb of respondent no.2. The IO submits that she did not conduct any investigation under the relevant law.
