The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the Petitioner, seeking issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to the Respondents, to produce the missing son of the Petitioner, namely Mr. Anurag Singh, aged about 33 years, who is stated to be missing since 08.12.2024 before the Court and to inquire about the illegal detention of the Petitioner.

On 07.04.2025 this Court has passed the following order:- "1.

The instant Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuing the writ of Habeas Corpus for a direction to Respondents to trace the Petitioner's son, namely Mr. Anurag Singh, aged about 33 years, who is stated to be missing The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. since 08.12.2024.

On 17.03.2025 Mr. Anurag Singh joined the proceedings with the assistance of his friend Mr. Sohail Shad via video conferencing. Mr. Anurag Singh informed this Court that he is currently in Thailand and he will return to India within two weeks. Mr. Anurag Singh has not returned to the country till now. 3.

Today, Mr. Anurag Singh has joined the proceedings through video conferencing. He states that he will come to India on 20.04.2025.

List on 21.04.2025 in the Supplementary list. 5.

Mr. Anurag Singh and Mr. Sohail Shad are directed to be present in Court on the next date of hearing."

Pursuant to Order dated 07.04.2025 passed by this Court, Mr. Anurag Singh is present in Court along with his friend Mr. Sohail Shad. Mr. Anurag Singh has been identified by the Police officials. He states that he is a B-Tech Engineer and is working in E & Y.

In view of the fact that the body of the person, who was missing, has been found and he is present in Court today, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such, along with pending application(s), if any.
