The instant petition is for the following reliefs:- "a. Issue a writ of Mandamus directing Respondent No. 1 to take up and decide the Petitioner's application under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, and any other application filed/to be filed by Petitioner, within a time-bound period. b. Direct the Respondent no. 2-4 to vacate the room situated on the ground floor forming part of the Petitioner's residential portion to enable medically advised renovation of the washroom and for Petitioner to have access to a washroom at all times on priority. c. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that since the date has been fixed by the Tribunal i.e. 02.04.2026, therefore, the substantial grievance raised by the petitioner stands mitigated. 3.
The Court, however, observes that the proceedings of the petitioner be taken to their logical conclusion without any undue delay and strictly in accordance with the mandate of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the Rules made thereunder. 4.
With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
