The present petition has been filed seeking for the following relief: "(A) Issue of a writ of Mandamus thereby restraining the adjudicating authority/Ld. District Magistrate, South East District, Delhi from taking any action in terms of order dated 24.10.2025 against the Petitioners for eviction from the property bearing house. no. 9/3, Nehru Nagar, New Delhi before adjudication of appeal bearing no. 1255 of 2025 titled "Ashwani Gandhi & Anr vs Chanchal Devi" along with application for The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. stay of order dated 24.10.2025 pending before the Ld. Divisional Commissioner, Appellate Authority, Civil Lines, New Delhi; (B) Such other and/or further order(s) as may be deemed fit, just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." 4.

It is submitted that this matter was called out by the Appellate Authority on 30.01.2026. It is pointed out by learned counsel who appears for the respondent-Authority that an adjournment was requested by the appellant and the matter is now fixed for consideration on 22.05.2026. 5.

Under these circumstances, there is no reason to stay the operation of the order passed by the District Magistrate. The petitioner may pursue the remedy before the Appellate Authority by filing a fresh application. If the petitioner does so, the same shall be considered appropriately. 6.

With the aforesaid observations, the petition, along with pending application, stands disposed of.
