The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No.0558/2018 under Sections 323/354/354(B)/452/34 of the IPC registered with PS New Ashok Nagar and all consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 is present in the Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. The learned counsel appearing for the State states that in addition

to respondent no.2, there were three other persons who were suffered simple injuries, namely, the husband and two sons of respondent no.2 [Mr Hazari Lal Sahu, husband of respondent no.2; Mr Ankur Sahu and Mr Vinay Kumar Sahu (sons of respondent no.2)]. Mr Hazari Lal Sahu, Mr Ankur Sahu and Mr Vinay Kumar Sahu are also present in the Court and are identified by the Investigating Officer.

The said persons (Mr Hazari Lal Sahu, Mr Ankur Sahu and Mr Vinay Kumar Sahu) state that they have resolved their disputes with the petitioners and have also entered into a Compromise/Settlement Deed with them.

They state that they have no grievances against the petitioners and request that the FIR in question be quashed.

The parties are neighbours and the FIR was lodged in view of an altercation that had occurred between the petitioners and respondent no. 2. 5.

The petitioners are present in the Court and are identified by their counsel. They also state that they have no grievances against respondent no.2 or any of the family members including her husband and her sons. 6.

In view of the statements made by the concerned parties, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. 7.

Accordingly, FIR No.

0558/2018 under Sections 323/354/354(B)/452/34 of the IPC registered with PS New Ashok Nagar and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed. 8.

The concerned parties (petitioners, respondent no.2, Mr Hazari Lal Sahu, Mr Ankur Sahu and Mr Vinay Kumar Sahu) shall sign this order as an
