The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to allow the petitioner to peacefully vend at the vending site described as "Near Exit Gate, SPM Marg, Old Delhi Railway Station, City SP Zone, Ward-84-N" without any let or hindrance being caused by any public officials.

The petitioner also prays that directions be issued to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to correct the nomenclature in the column for type of vendor as mentioned in the Certificate of Vending (COV) from 'Others' to 'Stationary Vendors'.

learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would file a representation to such effect and requests that the directions be issued for consideration of the same.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the MCD has no objection to this. It is accordingly so directed.

In so far as the prayer that the petitioner be allowed to vend at the given site is concerned, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the MCD submits that the petitioner would not be disturbed from carrying on his vending activities, subject to the same being carried on strictly in terms of the COV in an area of the vending site, which is not declared as a nonvending zone. 6.

The petitioner has not been allotted any fixed site and one of the conditions of the COV is that the petitioner would not stay at any particular site beyond 30 minutes or such other time as may be fixed by the Town Vending Committee.

The learned counsel for the MCD is bound down to the above statement.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
