As regards the merits of the matter, our attention is drawn by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Pathak, Standing Counsel appearing for Land Acquisition Commissioner, Land and Building Department/respondent no.6 to the order dated 13th November 2024, which bears out that the issue is already sub judice before the Reference Court i.e. District Judge-I (South-East) Saket Court, New Delhi.

It is further informed that, the petitioner is represented in the said proceedings, being respondent no.1 therein.

In that view of the matter, we see no reason to keep the present petition pending as it is open for petitioner to canvass all his grievances before the Reference Court.

That being so, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition.

Pending applications, if any, are rendered infructuous. 7.

Needless to clarify that we haven't appreciated the merits of the matter and the proceedings before the Reference Court shall be decided on its own merit and in accordance with the provisions in the Land Acquisition legislation.
