At the outset the learned counsel for the applicant seeks liberty to withdraw the present bail application with a prayer that the trial be expedited considering that the applicant is in custody for more than 5 years.

The FIR was registered wayback in the year 2015. On being asked, it is submitted that only formal witnesses remained to be examined.

The bail application stands dismissed as withdrawn. 4.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the examination of witnesses, preferably, within a period of six months.
