This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code (in short 'Cr.P.C') praying for grant of Parole for a period of 60 days in FIR No.183/2009 registered at Police Station: Tilak Marg, New Delhi under Sections 364A/365/394 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

As per the petition, the petitioner applied for parole through email to the concerned authorities on 20.2.2024, that is, on the date when the present petition is drafted. The petition was filed on 22.02.2024 itself.

Issue notice.

Notice is accepted by Mr.Sanjeev Bhandari, ASC (Crl.). He submits that the email of the petitioner seeking parole shall be expeditiously decided by the concerned authority. 6.

Keeping in view the above facts as also the averments made in the petition, the respondent is directed to decide on the application filed by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today. 7.

Needless to state, in case the decision of the respondent is against the interest of the petitioner, the petitioner shall be entitled to avail the remedy as available in law.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. 9.

Copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for ensuring compliance.
