1. Although refund has been issued to the Petitioner, Mr. Lalwani, learned counsel for the Petitioner states that interest on the refund amount has not been given for the entire period.
2. It is directed that the Respondents will pass an appropriate order with reasons for interest for the entire period in accordance with law within four weeks and the said order will be communicated to the Petitioner within 2 weeks thereafter. The amount found payable should be credited to the account of the Petitioner not later than 31st August 2019 failing which
compensation of Rs.50,000/- would be paid to the Petitioner.
3. Needless to state that if the Petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed it will be open to it to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
