% 15.01.2020 On the oral request of the learned senior counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is allowed to amend the Memo of Parties. The amended Memo of Parties shall be filed during the course of the day. By the order impugned in the present petition, the petitioner has merely been issued a notice on the application filed by the respondent to appear on 20.01.2020 before the learned National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. The said order does not require the personal presence of the petitioner.

In view thereof, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw the present petition.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the submissions made by the learned senior counsel for the petitioner on whether the proceedings before the Commission are maintainable against the petitioner.
