% 13.02.2019 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, present FIR No. 146/2004 under Sections 420/468/471/120B IPC registered at police station Kirti Nagar may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Ajay Kumar of police station Kirti Nagar. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further states that she has no objection in case the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also annexed with petition to this effect.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
